Terms of Use

The short version.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

You may play Bean & Paw for your own enjoyment. It is provided as it is. Purchases are optional, virtual and handled by Apple.

1. Who these terms are with

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Sirek Apps ("we", "us"), a software studio based in Gdańsk, Poland. They apply to the Bean & Paw game for iPhone and to this website. By downloading or playing the game you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

You also agree to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Apple standard licensed application end user licence agreement, which apply to apps from the App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the game or its content, support or maintenance. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

2. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the game, except where the law does not allow us to forbid it. You may not cheat by tampering with the game's code, memory or save data in a way that interferes with how it works.

3. Your progress

Your progress is stored on your device. It is not synced between devices and there is no account. If you delete the game, erase your iPhone or choose "Start over", the progress is gone unless it is restored from your own iPhone backup. We cannot restore it for you. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

4. Virtual items and purchases

The game has two virtual currencies, coins and treats. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred. They are a licence to use features inside the game, not property.

5. Refunds

All payments are handled by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple too, under its policies. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly. If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal, are not affected.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not use the game unlawfully, do not interfere with or disrupt it, and do not try to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to any related systems.

7. Maps and places

Maps and place search are provided by Apple Maps. Places, cities, populations, climates and opening hours in the game are a simplified game design and are not accurate or current information about any real place or business. Any café you open is fictional and has no connection with a real business at that location.

8. Changes to the game

We update the game from time to time. We may add, change or remove features, balance the economy, or stop supporting old versions of iOS. We try to keep changes fair to existing players.

9. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your progress will never be lost by a bug, an update or a device problem. This does not limit any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of progress or virtual items. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or the mandatory rights of consumers.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
